Dr. Oettinger grew up in Kinston, NC, about two hours east of Southern Pines. While working towards becoming an Eagle Scout, he encountered the leadership of several dental community members in Kinston, which led him to consider dentistry as a career. After receiving an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from UNC-Chapel Hill, he had a short career in real estate before pursuing his goal of becoming a dentist.
Dr. Riley Allen, affectionately known as a “triple Tarheel,” completed his 11-year academic journey in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, beginning with his undergraduate studies at UNC in Biology with a focus on Chemistry and Studio Art. Following graduating from UNC’s dental program in 2021, he pursued specialty training in prosthodontics in Chapel Hill, focusing on advanced surgeries for dental implants.
Allyson, from Bladenboro, started with us in our in-office laboratory and has now transitioned into working as a dental assistant. She loves spending time with her dog Ziggy, getting away to the beach and the mountains, and caring for her awesome garden!
